Give guidance and feedback to students' plans, encouraging, refining, and helping them to be responsible for their own learning. Maintain high expectations for completion of chosen options. Summarize by reviewing the whole, bringing students "full circle" to the experience with which the learning began.

Projects for Exploration

Objective: Students will determine the modes of presentation they will use, assign tasks, and complete projects.

Activity: Students hand in (in paragraph form) a plan for their project. They then bring materials to class and put together projects. The teacher grades them.

Assessment: Monitoring student progress. Quality of finished project.
