Establish a classroom atmosphere that celebrates the sharing of learning. Have opportunity for students to practice new learnings. Make student learning available to the larger community, i.e. books students write are shared with other classes, students report in school paper, student work is displayed at school, etc.

Evaluation of others arts

Objective: Students will explain how their 'selected arts form' influenced or was influenced by society.

Activity: Groups will 'present/teach the class' their findings on their selected 'arts work.' Presentations can range from slide-lecture type to theatrical presentations. Groups should determine how they want to present their findings.

Assessment: Teacher will evaluate the group presentation and class participation when appropriate.
