Establish a classroom atmosphere that celebrates the sharing of learning. Have opportunity for students to practice new learnings. Make student learning available to the larger community, i.e. books students write are shared with other classes, students report in school paper, student work is displayed at school, etc.

Celebrate the project's completion: Presentation Day!!

Objective: To demonstrate student progress on chosen project; student will refine project.

Activity: Check points: 1) Choice of project has been made. 2) Progress report written to teacher detailing what has been made.

Assessment: Each student must complete check points to receive full credit for project.
