Establish a classroom atmosphere that celebrates the sharing of learning. Have opportunity for students to practice new learnings. Make student learning available to the larger community, i.e. books students write are shared with other classes, students report in school paper, student work is displayed at school, etc.

Students share work by displaying advertisements & showing their commercials.

Objective: To have the students share their commercials/advertisements.

Activity: Advertisements are displayed and commercials are shown. An “Emzy Award” is presented for the best in each medium. An award can be given for most creative, most accurate, best layout, best video.

Assessment: Quality of student presentation.
