Establish a classroom atmosphere that celebrates the sharing of learning. Have opportunity for students to practice new learnings. Make student learning available to the larger community, i.e. books students write are shared with other classes, students report in school paper, student work is displayed at school, etc.

Share Big Books with upper grade buddies. Perform skit for parents & other classes

Objective: To share what was learned with others in the school and with parents.

Activity: Children read their Big Books to their partners in the upper grades. The farm animal skit is presented to any interested audience.

Assessment: Individual interest and participation in sharing knowledge with others
