Establish a classroom atmosphere that celebrates the sharing of learning. Have opportunity for students to practice new learnings. Make student learning available to the larger community, i.e. books students write are shared with other classes, students report in school paper, student work is displayed at school, etc.

Share stories with class, larger audience.

Objective: Group sharing of feelings and work.

Activity: Within classes or, if possible, in a larger group, students will share their work. Parents, other classes or school administrators might be invited.

Assessment: Have students write an evaluation of the entire experience, listing at least 4 things they have learned as well as what they liked or disliked.
