Objective: To initiate thinking about their personal journeys and those of their society.
Activity: 1) While listening to "Star Wars" music, students will write about their favorite journey. 2) Students will view film clips of famous film journeys.

Objective: To see various kinds of journeys we all know about.
Activity: Small groups: Try to categorize journeys written about and discussed in 1R.
