Activity: Set an alarm clock to go off every hour, on the hour. Have students notice the clock. They will begin predicting what the clock will look like the next time the alarm goes off.

Objective: To make observations of what the clock looks like and how the hands change during the day.

Activity: The next day, have the clock go off again--today recording what the clock looks like on butcher paper. At the end of the day, have the students discuss and make observations.
